A Faculty Workshop on "Lasting Learning"
with Richard Berrett, Ph.D.
Each faculty member approaches classes with the hope that what is taught will
be remembered beyond the test. Unfortunately there are far too many
examples of short-term memory and long term forgetting. This workshop
will provide those who attend the opportunity to explore how
service-learning, community engagement and other experiential
learning approaches increase the likelihood that learning will have a
long-term personal, professional and community impact.
