This year, lunch options will be provided from Banh Mi My Tho, a family owned and operated local Vietnamese sandwich shop, ranked by LA Magazine as one of 17 Great LA Sandwiches. All sandwiches include cilantro, cucumbers, pickled radish/carrot, peanuts.  Lunch includes a sandwich of your choice, two eggrolls, a Chinese dessert, and a drink for $5 -- please pay with cash at SOCAL Development.

Additionally, there are several options for lunch/snacks in and around the USU including Starbucks, Juice It Up, El Pollo Loco, Carl's Junior, and Sbarro.

Directions & Parking

SOCAL Development will be held in the University Student Union's (USU) Alhambra Room on the 3rd floor (305). Attendees should park on the top floor of Parking Structure C (campus_map.pdf) and parking permits may be purchased from yellow kiosks. A valid permit must be displayed on your vehicle's dashboard at all times.

From the 10-East:

  1. •Exit at Eastern Ave.

  2. •Turn left and go over freeway.

  3. •Enter the campus and follow Paseo Rancho Castilla north. 

  4. •Turn right on Circle Dr (there is a stop sign there).

  5. •Turn left into Parking Structure C.

From the 710-North:

  1. •Get off at Valley Blvd exit (the fwy ends here) and turn left onto Valley.

  2. •Turn left at Mariondale Ave.

  3. •Turn right on Paseo Rancho Castilla and left into the parking lot.
