Summer Institute
This institute is a one month intensive institute on the best practices of writing. Our insitute is designed for teachers to teach fellow teachers. Teachers K-12 are invited to apply for the summer.

Young Writers' Camp at Cal State LA
Our camp is not only educational but FUN too! Students in grades1-8 are invited to join us for three weeks during the month of July.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT (NEW workshops!)

Saturday Seminar
This is a FREE workshop for those interested in writing strategies that work in the classroom. Presenters are Writing Project Fellows and teachers in the education field. If you are a student or teacher, this workshop is worth attending!

OPEN COURSE/PROGRAMS

Summer Creative Writing Intensive (no courses have been scheduled at this time)

The Summer Creative Writing Intensive is a summer writing “camp” for adults.  In a three-week intensive, students will have the opportunity to write personal memoir, fiction, and poetry for self-enrichment.  For those who are teachers, the course will enhance their ability to develop effective creative writing curricula for their students.
