I
have been faculty adviser (and Principal Grant Investigator) of
the
BERP project from its inception. The work in blind equalization
started
in the early 1990s with a grant from NASA/JPL. Working with the
highly
motivated student teams has been a delightful educational experience
for
me. Many of the students have gone on to advanced degrees and to
research
positions in industry, partly because of the positive experiences
they
had on this grant. I look forward to continuing this project and
with working with future generations of excellent students.
