Development Plan -- Key Investment Orientation
 Ningbo
Hi-Tech Park, jointly developed by Chinese Academy of Sciences and Ningbo Municipal
Government, was inaugurated on July. 1999. The Park, covering an area of 32 sq.
Km, locates at the edge of Ningbo downtown on the west and is the central district
of urban development.
Through the efforts for one and a half years, a batch
of high-tech enterprises from Taiwan, Hong Kong, USA, Japan, Holland, Singapore
and domestic have invested in the park, in which ten one have been approved as
High and New technology enterprises. The main products of the in-Park enterprises
comprises of computer keyboard, hard drive, boards & cards, network terminal,
semiconductor devices, software, gene products, photoelectric instrument, light-reflecting
material, plasma display panel and MRI, etc.
Development Plan
The
committee of Ningbo high-tech park is planning to complete a construction area
of 7 sq. km by the end of 2005. Infrastructure and environment of business and
residence in the park will be ranked domestic advanced-level and its innovation
center have capability to offer powerful support to the incubation of science
achievement and high & new technology enterprises. The industry of S&T
will take shape to attain high standard in China

Integrated Circuit: include IC designing & production,
IC material and
assemble test. - PC
and Parts: include PC, equipment, memorizing equipment, input & output, network
equipment, special software and electrical engineering parts.

Communication: include telecommunication system, microwave system, optical fiber
system, satellite communication system and elements.

Photoelectricity: include the photoelectricity elements(such as the TFT plane
monitor, PDP plasma monitor and LED liquid crystal Monitor) and optical system
elements.

Precision Machinery: include the automation system and elements.

Biological Technology: include the biological pharmacy, ocean pharmacy and, new
chemical medicine and preparation, key new preparation.

including hotels, entertainments, office buildings, supermarkets and hospitals.
