The
scale of construction: the industrial park is to be developed
on an area of 1 sq.km. in the southwestern part of Daxie Island.
The project includes the infrastructure in the industrial
park such as roads, water supply and drainage, and power. It
would provide all enterprises with the industrial land in plots
where there exist the more complete infrastructure in order
to build a new industrial park. It is intended to develop the
technology-intensified/capital-intensified light-weight industry,
high-tech industry and ordinary enterprises to form an industrial
park. Its main sectors include petrochemicals, communication
system, electronic components and devices, computers and a complete
set of electronic and electrical industry, precision instruments,
medical apparatus and instruments, light wares, biological engineering
and other new technology, high-grade food and beverage production,
and others. |

CITIC Daxie
Development Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary company under
China International Trust & Investment Corporation (CITIC),
was established on Jan.11, 1994 with the approval of State Economic
and Trade Commission. Its main task is to develop land in plots
on Daxie Island on behalf of CITIC. |

Location Advantage
|
The
project site is situated in the southwest of Daxie Island with
the Huangzhi River to the west opposite Beilun District across
the sea, and the commerce and trade centre on Daxie Island to
the south. The highway along the seacoast and the island-surrounding
road run through the park. |
