scale: a total area of 320,000 sqm.
Textile industry is one of the pillar industries in Cixi,
which is the production base of cotton. And the light &
textile industry is the main sector of Fushan town. Its production
was valued at 3.62 billion yuan in 1999. For speeding-up the
upgrade of traditional industry, giving full play to the advantages
in production, supply and sales and promote the modernization
process of countryside and city, it is to introduce foreign
capital to construct an industrial park combined with the functions
of specialized market and producing and processing base. Huadong
Light & Textile Industries Mall will be composed of raw
material market, textile product market, light & textile
facilities market, light & textile products processing center
and dyeing center. The first stage of the project is plan need
to cover an area of 120,000 sq.m. and the second stage of 200,000
sq.m. It will have a capacity to hold 600 sets of large knitting
machines, 70 sets of elasticity-adding machines and advanced
dyeing equipment. It is also capable of holding such activities
as information exchange, business and trading. It is to annually
produce 50000 tons of gray cloth, 30000 tons of low-elasticity
polyester fiber and 60000 tons of dyed cloth.
The annual operation income is estimated to reach 3.5
billion yuan and the annual profit 200 million yuan. |
