The
scale of production: an annual output os 200,000 pcs of 6-inch
chips for discrete semiconductor device.
In the recent years, the output of the discrete semiconductor
devices has totalled 6 billion pcs in the country, of which
about 30 percent were made up by Ningbo. Besides, the productive
capacity of the projects under construction has reached about
5 billion pcs. At present, the domestic manufacturers for the
chips of discrete devices at the large scale have not yet come
into being. For this, the production of the chips for discrete
semiconductor devices in Ningbo has good industrial foundation
and broad prospects of market. The project covers an area of
18,000 sq. m. with the construction of 8,000 sq.m., including
2,500 sq.m. for the purified factory buildings.
It is anticipated that the annual sales income would
be 580 million yuan with the annual profit of 58 million yuan. |

Industry Park is jointly developed and constructed by the Academy
of Science of China and Ningbo People's Government. The Economic
Development Bureau of Ningbo High-tech Industry Park takes charge
of the high-tech development plan and its implementation in
the park, foreign-funded firm establishment, and foreign economic
cooperations. |

Located
at Ningbo High-tech Industry Park, the site for the project
depends on the centre of Ningbo, 15Km from Beilun Port, 6Km
from Hangzhou-Ningbo expressway, 18Km from Lishe airport, and
7Km from Ningbo train station. It can enjoy the preferential
policy on the high-tech industrial sector. Water, power and
gas are available there. |
