Ninghai section of Xiangshan-connecting highway of the
coastal expressway from Tongjiang to Sanya is located in Ninghai
county. It is designed according to the standard of first grade
highway on hilly area. The highway is 17.9 km in distance and
24.5 m in width and 4 lanes on two directions with green-belt
and protection fence respectively along them. As a fee-collecting
highway, its facilities are advanced and perfect. The original
road in this section was of low quality grade and in winding
shape, which limited the development of the investment environment
and economy along the road. After the highway is putting into
operation, those towns and villages along the highway will obtain
new developing opportunities and become an area with developing
economy. At present, the traffic volume has reached 2800 pieces,
and it is anticipated to increase by 8% every year. The project
will receive a good economic benefit and ideal economic return
rate.
The annual operating income is estimated to be 23.73
million yuan, and the annual profit 14.75 million yuan. |

Ninghai Transportation
Industrial Development Co., Ltd. is a state-owned enterprise
with a registered asset of 6 million yuan. Its operation scope
concerns the investment in building roads, bridges, channels
and other transportation facilities. Recently, it has completed
the construction of Xiangshan and Ninghai-connecting Highway
of Tong-San Expressway, with an investment of 190 million yuan.
Ninghai section of Ningbo coastal highway with an investment
of 300 million yuan is now under construction. This project
is the important transportation hub connecting Tong-San Expressway
and linking Ningbo with Xiangshan and the outlying district.
The completion of the project will greatly improve the economic
development in the area. |
