Carl Sasaki is a partner at Crowe LLP and a member of the Deans Advisory Board. Carl is a past student president of Beta Alpha Psi and graduated in 1983 with a B.S. Business Administration, Option in Accounting.
Reflecting on time spent at Cal State LA, Carl recalls an influential professor, Dr. Ronald Stone, who taught Carl’s first accounting course. The two have remained in contact over the years. Carl’s best memory of the CBE was getting involved with Beta Alpha Psi and enjoying the camaraderie and transformative experience.
Carl believes that the diversity that the Cal State LA student body represents supports an important learning process where students can share many different perspectives. “I think that’s important as you make your way out into the world because as we all know, the world is a diverse place.” – Carl Sasaki
