CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

Submissions Due: November 19, 2020

The CBE Research Roundtables is a forum for faculty and instructors in the College of Business and Economics to present research intended for submission to peer-reviewed journals or presentation at academic conferences. The forum is an opportunity for faculty and instructors to discuss their work-in-progress (scholarly, pedagogical or practitioner in nature, with potential for innovation or impact) to receive feedback from colleagues in preparation for successful external submissions.

The goal of these CBE Roundtables is not only to provide a venue for feedback on scholarly work but also to create an environment of possible collaboration.

PRACTICAL IMPLICATIONS FOR YOUR AACSB STATUS MAINTENANCE: In general, One Roundtable presentation on Impactful Scholarship will earn you one point from category C toward AACSB status. One Roundtable presentation on Impactful Practice will earn you one point from Category D toward AACSB status.

Submission Guidelines

Faculty and instructors from the College of Business and Economics who are interested in presenting their research at the CBE Research Roundtables should submit their abstract (minimum length of 1-page abstract) or research papers by November 19, 2020.

Priority will be given to early submissions.

All submissions must represent original and unpublished work. Submissions should not have been previously published.

The submission file must be in Word or PDF format.

Each presentation will be given 15-20 minutes

You may choose to present your work using slides or have a printout for your peers to help them understand what you are working on and gather their feedback.

If you are interested in presenting, please send an email to [email protected]. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the authors by November 23, 2020.  Depending on the number of submissions received, faculty may be asked to present at a later seminar.
