Sudden Death View Points or SDVP

Sudden Death View Points or SDVP

conceived by Eric Lauritzen, MFA in TVFT/Acting Option

Sudden Death View Points or SDVP is an ensemble piece that centers the Viewpoints within the world of a competitive sport, exposing the inherent theatricality of sports events, while drawing on the over-the-top satire used in WWE.  This project embraces the “unknown outcome” of competitive sports infused into contemporary theatre.

Members of the ensemble cast will play multiple roles, such as: the Competitors, the Cheer Squad, the Live Commercial Performers (some singing involved), the Announcers, the Referees, etc.  The final performance will be aired live on social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc., promoted as an actual competition
