What are the Cal State LA admissions requirements?

Depending on your background, you may apply as a First-time Freshman or Transfer applicant.

  • If you have not completed any college units after high school graduation, you will need to enter the university as a First-time Freshman Student.
  • If you have completed college units after high school graduation, you will need to enter the university as a Transfer Student.

Required Documents

To be considered for veteran benefits, please plan to submit your DD-214 to the Admissions Office by your interested admission term’s deadline.
