Based on the results of your SAT, ACT, or CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress), you were determined to be “conditionally ready” for college-level English and/or Math at the California State University (CSU). In order to fulfill the condition, and be considered "ready" for college-level English and/or Math courses, a "conditionally ready" student must earn grades of 'C' or better, in an approved year-long English and/or math course taken during their senior year of high school. However, per the class information provided in your admission application, it appears that you did not enroll in an eligible approved course(s) to meet the Senior Year Experience requirement. The approved courses are as follows:
  • For English

    • English course approved for extra honors weight on the University of California "a-g" Doorways course list (For CA schools only; search by your school name)
    • Or a transferable English Composition course taken at a community college.
