Let us know who you are as a person and as an aspiring writer. Why do you want to enter the Writing Option of this MFA program? Why are you passionate about writing? What inspired you to write? What is your motivation in entering this program and what are your professional objectives? No need to reiterate your resume/work experience. 500 words max.

1-3 page synopsis/beat sheet of a full-length work (screenplay, spec script, pilot script, or play), in English. And up to 15 pages of that same screenplay, spec script, pilot script, or play. Your spelling, grammar, formatting and structure will be considered for acceptance into the program. Please ensure that when you copy and paste direct links to your writing samples that they are public and can be viewed.

If you are a finalist to this program, you will be required to have an SKYPE interview with the Writing Option Head and other writing faculty. If you are a foreign student and cannot do the SKYPE interview because of a time difference, you will need to video record yourself answering a list of questions in English that will be submitted to you in advance, and upload the video to a specified link.
