Cal State LA offers over 300 scholarships. And not only are most awarded to students currently enrolled but many are given to students pursuing specific majors. Sociology awards three such scholarships: the Francesca ("Kiki") Alexander, the David Miller, and the Richard and Erika Nahrendorf. To be considered automatically for all scholarships, it is recommended that students file a General Scholarship Application, along with a letter of recommendation, in April of each year.
