Mission Statement
The mission of the Registrar's Office is to provide the most efficient and effective
academic services to students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni without
compromising institutional, professional or legal standards and to provide timely and
accurate information while maintaining the security and confidentiality of the data. To
that end, the Registrar's Office maintains the academic records of all CSLA students and
will issue official transcripts and other reports of those records; will register students
in classes, tracking and certifying enrollment; will prepare and publish class and
examination schedules and calendars; will monitor progress toward degrees and will award
degrees on behalf of the University; will ensure compliance with academic and
administrative policies and procedures of the University, the Chancellor's Office and
Title 5 of the State Of California Administrative Code. The Registrar's Office will
actively participate in the University's enrollment management efforts, with particular
involvement in the areas of technological development and retention.
