Assistant Coach, Men's and Women's Track & Field
POSITION: Assistant Coach, Men & Women's Track & Field. Part-time, academic year appointment in the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics. Subsequent appointments are based on merit and program needs.
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible after January 1, 2013.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Candidates must have experience coaching at the collegiate, club, or high school level; knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations, a strong commitment to the welfare of student-athletes, and the ability to work effectively in a multiethnic/multicultural environment.
DUTIES: Under the general direction of the head men & women’s track & field coach, the incumbent will assist the head coach in the organization, management and administration of a highly competitive NCAA Division II track & field program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: coaching the multi-events, jumps and throws; practice planning; equipment ordering; meet management, schedule coordination for student-athletes; scouting, recruitment and evaluation of qualified prospective student-athletes; fund-raising, and other related duties as assigned by the head coach. Reports to the Head Coach.

SALARY RANGE: Initial salary competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
