COMMUNICATION STUDIES
POSITION: Temporary one year full-time position in Communication Studies.
STARTING DATE: September, 2013.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: ABD or Ph.D. in Communication or associated field. Candidates should have demonstrated ability or potential to direct the basic course (COMM 150 Oral Communication), and teach instructional communication. Candidates should provide the demonstrated potential for effective teaching using a variety of methodologies. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in oral and written communication, and an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic environment.
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: The best applicant will have a secondary area of teaching and scholarly interest that complements the current faculty.
DUTIES: In addition to teaching, duties include student advisement and service for the Communication Studies Department.

SALARY RANGE: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
