Position: One tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position with possibility of credit toward tenure
Starting Date: September 2013
Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must possess a doctorate in Marketing or related fields, from an AACSB-accredited institution. Possession of the appropriate terminal degree is required for employment. This position will have primary teaching responsibilities in advertising, promotion, public relations and marketing. Candidate should have work and teaching experience in marketing, advertising, promotion, public relations, or related field. Candidates should have evidence of peer-reviewed journal publications in the desired area(s). Applicants must show evidence of excellence in teaching, productive programs of scholarly research and commitment to service of the department, institution and discipline. Candidates must possess excellent skills in oral and written communications. Candidates must also demonstrate an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic environment.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications: Applicants whose work incorporates a global perspective and a commitment to diversity in higher education are particularly encouraged to apply. Demonstrated experience in Advertising, Promotion Public Relations and Marketing and at least one of the following areas: Consumer Behavior, Sales, Market Research, and Marketing Strategy is desired.
Duties: In addition to teaching, duties include student advisement/mentoring and committee service for the Department, College, and the University.
Salary: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The Department: The Marketing Department has the third largest enrollment area for the College of Business and Economics with more than 650 majors. The department’s culturally diverse faculty hold Ph.D. degrees from prestigious universities. The Department's emphasis is on "Excellence In Teaching Through Practical Application" in the graduate areas: Marketing Management and International Business and undergraduate options: Marketing, International Business, and Retailing.
