DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE AND LAW
Position: Lecturer, temporary, non-tenure-track faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional quarters.
Starting Date: Winter/Spring/Summer Quarter 2013
Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have earned a Ph.D., MBA or related degree, or be working towards a Doctoral degree in a business or business related field. Applicants must be professionally qualified by demonstrated and provable experience in one or more areas related to Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, International Finance, Investments, Securities Analysis, Fixed Income, Options, Capital Budgeting, and Real Estate or academically qualified through a doctoral degree and/or publications. Applicants must have the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment, and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working and teaching in a multiethnic, multicultural environment. Appointment or elevation to Range C or D requires the appropriate terminal degree.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in graduate or undergraduate courses in the above mentioned areas is preferred. We are actively seeking applicants who have a track record of maintaining AQ status through publication in refereed journals or are professionally qualified through their work in one of the areas of finance listed above.
Duties: Faculty will teach undergraduate or graduate courses, depending upon qualifications, in varied topics related to management, human resource management and/or operations. Faculty are required to hold office hours.
Salary: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
