DEPARTMENT OF MANAGEMENT
Position: Lecturer, temporary, non-tenure-track faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional quarters.
Starting Date: Summer Quarter 2012 (classes start June 25, 2012)
Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have earned a Ph.D., MBA or related degree, or be working towards a Doctoral degree in a business or business related field. Applicants must be professionally qualified by demonstrated practical management experience in one or more areas related to human resource management, operations management or general management or academically qualified through a doctoral degree and/or publications. Applicants must have the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment, and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working and teaching in a multiethnic, multicultural environment. Appointment or elevation to Range C or D requires the appropriate terminal degree.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience in undergraduate or graduate courses related to management, human resource management or operations management is preferred.
Duties: Faculty will teach undergraduate or graduate courses, depending upon qualifications, in varied topics related to management, human resource management and/or operations. Faculty are required to hold office hours.
Salary: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
