Department of Chicano Studies

Position: Lecturer, temporary, non-tenure-track faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional quarters.

Starting Date: Spring 2009 - On-going

Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have a masters degree and the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment, and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working in a multiethnic, multicultural environment.

Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate preferred from an accredited university. Candidates should provide record of potential for scholarly activity involving students whenever possible, as well as the demonstrated potential for effective teaching using a variety of methodologies.

Duties: In addition to teaching, duties include maintaining office hours.

Salary: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
