Department of Civil Engineering

Position: Part-Time Lecturer in Civil Engineering. The positions are in all areas of Civil Engineering including CAD (AutoCAD, Microstation, GIS, etc.) and Construction Management.

Starting Date: As Needed.

Minimum Qualifications: MS (Doctorate for graduate course teaching) in Civil Engineering or closely related field. Excellent written and oral communications skills. A strong commitment to teaching. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic campus.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional civil engineering work experience. Professional civil engineering registration in California. Experience with both hands-on experimental techniques and computer simulation in area of expertise.

Duties: Responsibilities include undergraduate and/or graduate teaching.

Salary Range: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
