Honors College
Position: Lecturer for Honors courses in the humanities, civic engagement, social sciences, sciences, and higher education. Non-tenure-track faculty positions with the possibility of renewal for additional quarters.
Starting Date: Positions will be filled as needed for each academic quarter.
Minimum Qualifications: Candidate must have an appropriate degree from an accredited university (undergraduate theory courses-master’s degree, for lower division courses- bachelor’s degree and substantial teaching experience; graduate courses-doctoral degree, or master’s degree and substantial teaching experience). Demonstrated excellence in teaching at a college level. Applicants should have the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment, and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working in a multiethnic, multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D; experience teaching and publishing in the areas of civic and community engagement and service learning. Ph.D; experience teaching and publishing in the areas of civic and community engagement and service learning.
Duties: Faculty will teach courses and be available for office hours.
Salary: Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
