Position:

Graduate Assistant for  Geological Sciences
 

 

Starting Date:

Beginning Spring 2008 quarter through the end of Fall 2008.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree-seeking graduate student in the Department of Geological Sciences to perform instructor assistance.  Graduate Assistants must be registered in a CSU graduate degree program and must be enrolled in courses towards the completion of that graduate degree during the appointment period.  Applicants should have the ability to relate well to others within the academic environment, and demonstrate ability and/or interest in working in a multiethnic, multicultural environment.

 

 

Preferred: Qualifications:

B.S. in Geology or related science.

 

 

 

Duties:

Under the general supervision of the Geology instructor, provides homework test grading and classroom assistance.

 

 

Salary:

Current Graduate Assistant rate for an average of 20 hours per week.
