Position: |
One
tenure-track Assistant Professor
position with possibility of credit toward tenure. If unable to fill this
position, it may be converted to a Full-time Temporary appointment. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
ABD or Ph.D. in Management or a closely related business field. Experience and expertise in General Management and/or Business Ethics. A Ph.D. from an accredited institution of higher education is required for tenure. Preference will be given to candidates with Ph.D. or equivalent at the time of employment. Candidates should provide record of or potential for scholarly activity involving students whenever possible, as well as the demonstrated potential for effective teaching using a variety of methodologies. Candidates should also demonstrate an ability or interest in teaching in a multicultural, multiethnic campus. |

Preferred: Qualifications: |
Experience in generating
financial resources through grants and contracts and in working with the
business community. |
|
|
Duties: |
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, engaging in
scholarly activity, developing and implementing curriculum and related
assessment procedures, student advising, building relations with the business
and professional community, and participating in University service. In addition to teaching, duties include
student advisement and committee service for the Department,
|

|
Salary: |
Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. |
