Research Programs
In conjunction with the NSS academic programs, the College supports several undergraduate and graduate interdisciplinary programs that foster collaborative research and exciting fieldwork, doctoral program preparation, and career guidance. Various programs may offer generous student assistantships and fellowships as well as travel funds to encourage students to attend national meetings. The programs are under the leadership of Cal State L.A.’s finest scholars in the natural and social sciences, and the students are among the most inquisitive and productive, with thousands of published research articles in prominent scientific journals.
