Dr. Elrod holds the Ed.D. & the M.M.E. degree from the University of Georgia, and the Bachelor of Music Degree from Georgia State. She currently teaches credential courses in music education, graduate courses in psychology, and advanced music education.
In addition to her expertise in the music education field, Dr. Elrod has an exceptional singing voice with a range from baritone to soprano and performs in the popular and classical fields. She is a ventriloquist and an expert pool player. Her command of multiple languages for singing and reading extends to French, Italian, German, Spanish, Hebrew and Latin. She is listed in the Who's Who in America 2000.
