Students seeking a Teaching
Credential through the BA in Child Development, Liberal Studies,
Mexican-American Studies and Urban Learning programs should take Math
110, Math 115 and Math 225.
- Math 110, Math 115 and Math 225 are required in both the
Elementary Subject Matter Teacher Preparation Option and Blended
Elementary Subject Matter Teacher Preparation Option of these BA
degree programs.
- Math 110, Math 115 and Math 225 count towards the required
number of units of directed electives in the Elementary Subject
Matter Teacher Preparation Option: Directed Electives of these BA
degree programs. See catalog.
- Math 110 (Foundations of the Real Number System for
Elementary and Middle School Teachers) Prerequisite:
Completion of remedial mathematics, or exemption from the ELM
exam.
- Math 115 (Elements of Algebra and Statistics for
Elementary and Middle School Teachers) Prerequisite:
Math 110
- Math 225 (Explorations in Geometry for Elementary and
Middle School Teachers) Prerequisite:
Prerequisites: A college level mathematics course with a minimum grade C.
