Using Hyperlinks
It's not always easy to tell, at first glance, whether a chunk of text
or a picture is a clickable hot spot. But there's a simple way to find
out:
-
When you move the mouse pointer to a hot spot, the mouse
pointer turns into a pointing hand.
-
The status bar displays the URL of the site you'll get
to by clicking the hot spot.

Visited and Unvisited Links
Difference between blue hyperlinks and red hyperlinks:

visited.

Popping Back to a Recent Page
The following steps show a simple way to return to a
site that you've visited recently:
-
Click the drop-down list button to the right of the
Location box to display the history list..
-
Click the URL of the site you want to go to.

Home/Stop/Reload
Home - If you get lost and want to go all the way back to the very
first page, click the Home button in the toolbar.
Stop - If you reach a boiling point while
trying to view a site and decide to give up and go somewhere else, all
you have to do is click the Stop button in the toolbar.
Reload - When you visit a Web site for the
first time, that site's home page is sent to your PC through the modem
- a fairly slow process. As the page comes into your PC, Navigator automatically
makes a copy of that page and stores it on your hard disk in a folder called
the cache.
When you revisit a recently visited page, Navigator
doesn't bother to reload the entire page through the modem. Instead, it
just reloads the page from the cache on your hard disk. This process helps
speed things along as you're browsing the Web.
You can easily overcome this problem by using the
Reload button in Navigator toolbar.

-
Choose whatever topic in the menu seems appropriate.

your page.
The rest is pretty easy. The left frame provides

address.

When you've finished with the Wizard, you need to
save the newly created page on your hard disk. Scroll down to the button
of the instructions frame, click on the Build button, and wait a
few minutes while the Wizard builds your page.
It is very important to save this page locally, on
your own hard disk, so that later you can send it to your Web server for
publication. Follow these steps:
-
In Navigator's menu bar choose File | Edit Document.
-
You can't edit this page right now because it's on Netscape's
Web server, not on your PC. Make sure that both check boxes are checked,
then Click the Save button.
-
You may see another message, telling you that you're
about to download a remote document.
-

folder in which you want to store your page, then type the filename.
