The Comparative Religion Club
of Cal State L.A.
The Comparative Religion Club welcomes all interested Cal State L.A. students.
In addition to providing a forum for the exploration of L.A.'s multiple religious
traditions and communities, the club encourages thoughtful and diverse discussion

debates about the relationship between religion and science,
faith and politics, spirituality and social justice, etc. The club's
mission is to enhance further knowledege about all religions, belief systems, and
spiritual experiences through free and open dialogue.
In addition to its regular meetings, the Comparative Religion Club arranges guided tours of L.A.-area religious institutions and museum exhibits for its members. Past destinations have included the Hsi-Lai Buddhist Temple, the King Tut Exhibit at LACMA, and the King Fahad Mosque in Culver City.
