School of Nursing Advisement
The School of Nursing responds to questions about the MS application process for the new incoming traditional and ELMN students and the continuing BSN students. Information sessions for MS applicants are offered periodically and are posted online on our online homepage under Information Sessions and admission guidelines.
The School of Nursing Advisement office offers advisement services for Nursing students that have been accepted into one of our four Nursing Programs. The four programs that the School of Nursing offers advisement for are: BSN Generic (or Basic) students; BSN RN students; the ELMN (Entry Level Masters Nursing Students); and the MS Traditional Students. The advisement services for students enrolled in these programs include:
- Program planning for on-going School of Nursing Students
- Petitions for general education and excess units
- Graduation checks
- Health Clearance
Once accepted into the School of Nursing you are assigned a program advisor. To schedule an appointment with your program advisor call (323)343-4730 or come to the advisement office in ST F415. Advisors are not available for walk-in appointments. Appointments must be scheduled in advance.
If you are not sure who your faculty advisor is check the Graduate bulletin boards.
