Annual CSU Graduate Conference
Call
for Papers
The
12th Annual CSU Graduate Conference will examine the significations
of language, word, and image, as well as literary representations of meaning and
experience. We invite papers from
all periods and genres of literary, linguistic, and visual culture.
In addition, we welcome investigations of the ideological implications of
these issues and their representations. Accepted
papers will be published in a volume of conference proceedings.
Deadline
for Paper Submissions is March
5, 2007
Paper
topics may include:
Historical
criticism, cultural studies, critical theory, gender studies, composition
studies, rhetoric and language, visual and performing arts, creative writing,
studies in British, American, and World Literature, Anthropology, History, and
Philosophy.
Paper Guidelines:
10-12 pages, double spaced, 12 point Times New Roman font.
Citations must be in MLA format. Papers
may be submitted via e-mail attachment (MS Word only) or via hard copy, with a
cover sheet stating your name, paper title, street address, e-mail address,
phone number, institutional affiliation, and a short biographical summary of
your interests. Please do not
include your name or other identifying information in the header or body of your
paper. Students may submit one paper
for consideration.
