English Department Seminar Room (E&T A631)

Professor Hema Chari and Professor Caroline McManus will conduct a workshop on application to graduate English programs. They will make brief presentations and answer questions. The following topics will be covered:

• Writing a strong personal statement
• Studying for the GRE subject exam in English
• Compiling a list of desirable programs
• Understanding recent admission trends
• Requesting letters of recommendation

All interested students are invited to attend this workshop, which will be held on Monday, May 12 from 3:15-4:15 in the English Department Seminar Room (E&T A631).
