Graduate students interested in exploring teaching
opportunities are invited to two events on Thursday, May 17, 2007.
First in the English Department Seminar Room (E & T A631),
Professor Hema Chari will be facilitating a workshop titled
"How to Apply for Teaching Positions". The workshop will
begin at 3:30pm and will last one hour.
Following the workshop on the application process, professors from Rio Hondo Community
College, Pasadena City College, and East Los Angeles College will meet with CSULA graduate students from
4:30pm to
6:00pm to discuss the
application and hiring process at community colleges.
