"Boats, Blues and Hurricanes," a performance of music, poetry and
dance featuring Rommi Smith with special guests James Ford
of the Luckman Jazz Orchestra and CSULA music and creative
writing students, will take place on Saturday, March 4 at
7:00pm in the Music
Hall. The program will focus on creative responses to Hurricane Katrina
and will offer a tribute to the international influence of New
Orleans'
music. It is free of charge and open to the
public.
