Vocational Education Program
Cal State L.A.’s Bachelor of Vocational Education (BVE) program
is uniquely designed for vocational/occupational instructors with
professional and teaching experience who wish to obtain a bachelor’s
degree. Candidates must possess experience in both their occupation
and teaching in that field. The California State Board of
Examiners for Vocational Teachers will grant university credit based
upon the candidate’s occupational and teaching experience.
Students interested in Cal State L.A.’s Bachelor of Vocational
Education program should apply for admission to the University and
make an appointment to meet with the BVE advisor in the Department
of Technology.
