In order to provide quality academic advisement and support student excellence and academic achievement, the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology operates a Retention Advisement and Information Center (RAIC). RAIC exists to help engineering and technology majors reach their academic goals in a productive and time-efficient manner.

RAIC works with College faculty advisors in the academic advisement process by providing information and guidance directly to students.

Some of the many services RAIC provides include:

• assistance with individual advisement;
• evaluation and explanation of transfer credits from other institutions;
• advisement regarding appropriate substitution courses for general education and major classes;
• information about University and College resources, policies and procedures;
• exploring feasible solutions for academic probation and disqualification;
• assistance in making the academic process a little easier!

Students are welcome to call and make an appointment to speak with a RAIC advisor.
