All students interested in BINF, the new interdisciplinary Minor in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology starting next Fall, need to complete the prerequisite classes, Biol 100A and B, by the end of Spring quarter prior to taking BINF 400 in the Fall 2012. Remember that Biol 100A is a prerequisite for Biol 100B. The Friends of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology (The Friends of ECST) Executive Committee Dr. Warren Valdry, President and Founder, Mr. Guillermo Hysaw, Vice President, and Dr. H. Keith Moo-Young, Dean, College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology, joined the U.S. Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan in Washington DC to present him with The Friends of ECST "President’s Award” on December 13, 2011.
