Introduction:

This web page document planning and preliminary design of a local road from a exissting country road to a new development. In this project we had to created a new road and learnd how to design a cross section in excel, auto cab, also learns about cost and parking lot issues.

Problem Defintion:

It is required to developed a road connecting the existing Canyan Road to anew development at (E, 4,075,500; N, 4,137,000). Designing an alternative road and calculations

Information Gathering: The study of the topographical map of the area and know the locations ground slopes of natural features such as streams, trees, ground slopes and creating the design process..

Data Collected:

Alternatives Considered: Only one alternative is considered the slopes were less than 10% and the lenght was around 6000 ft.

Analysis of Alternative 2: Exel part Calculate area of cut and areas fill in sq.ft for each cross section.
