The Bachelor of Science degree with Special Option, which is not accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org, is a program that allows students to prepare for innovative careers in engineering through interdisciplinary combinations of course work in areas such as manufacturing engineering.
