The RhetOracles is a communication studies based student organization. We are dedicated to promoting the study of rhetoric and social change in our school and our community. We strive to target social issues that pertain to the student body and to our communities alike. Our mission is to open discussions across campus by inviting guest speakers from the community who can incite discourse about current events from a rhetorical perspective. Issues that concern us include the framing and performance of culture, race, gender, migration, family, ability, and various other important topics. We provide a platform for colleagues to present and/or workshop their research. An invitation is open to all students who want to participate in vibrant discussions.
