Teaching Credentials

The CCOE offers a variety of Teaching Credential Programs including Multiple Subject (Elementary Teaching), Single Subject (Secondary Teaching), and Education Specialist (Teaching in Special Education).  The Education Specialist Credentials include: Education Specialist Intern, Early Childhood Special Education, Mild/Moderate Disabilities, Physical and Health Impairments, and Visual Impairments.  In addition, the CCOE offers a Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist Credential as well as Credentials through the Los Angeles Urban Teacher Residency Programs (LAUTR).  All Teaching Credentials must comply with California Commission on Teaching Credentialing (CCTC) guidelines.  Explore the options below.
