Studio Arts Faculty (Painting)
I have lived in the greater Los Angeles area since 1982 and I enjoy the exciting and diverse community that keeps Los Angeles a constant source of cultural and artistic inspiration. Painting is a fantastic medium for investigating the ambiguities and dilemmas of contemporary life along with the expressing subtleties that make us individuals. I have taught at many local universities and colleges and I am presently an assistant professor at CSULA. The CSULA painting program offers a wide range of painting topics ranging from traditional figure painting to computer based imaging. Focusing on developing each painter's unique source of inspiration as well understanding importance of integrating the CSULA Fine Art Department into Los Angeles artistic community prepares our students a lifetime commitment to the arts.
