university times

The University Times has been published on campus for half a century. It is the voice of the campus when it comes to a balanced, sensitive overview of what happens here. It hits news stand on Thursdays (except holidays) and contains a lively mix of local news, commentary, sports reporting and other features designed to engage and inform.

coolstate LACoolState L.A. offers a contemporary, multi-media online display of University and CSULA-Community news, accessible anytime, and updated daily with new content including webcasts and photo slideshows. Everything found in the University Times can also be found at, but Cool State L.A. offers additional content with continuing updates and interactive experiences including user comments and discussion forums.

Expressions, The official e-newsletter of Arts & LettersThe Expressions newsletter features student, staff, and faculty achievements, a calendar of upcoming events, job opportunities, and announcements important to our campus community and off-campus patrons. Expressions is issued via email, semi-monthly (about 9 issues per year), and is FREE to all subscribers. An excellent resource for students and their families, Expressions offers readers a sampling of the broad range of programs, events, and accomplishments happening every month at Arts & Letters.

Csula Arts'n'Letters A growing number of our students use Facebook as both a social and informational resource. Not wanting to miss any opportunity to communicate with our students, Arts & Letters joined the Facebook community in 2008. Our “friends” include our students, faculty, staff, event patrons, prospective students, and members of the CSULA community at large. CSULA.arts.letters on Facebook is administered by the Office of the Dean.

follow us on twitter! Arts & Letters uses Twitter exclusively for announcements about Ticketed Events, such as plays, musicals, recitals, concerts, and showcase events. Sign up for our Tweets if you want reminders when tickets go on sale (or sell out!) for performing arts and other ticketed events.
