The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures & Asociación de Estudiantes de Español presents, Africa in Latin America: The Power of Contemporary Traditional Music in celebration of the Modern Languages Month.
A lecture & performance by musician LEOPOLDO NOVOA.
Novoa regularly plays globally with Jordi Savall & Tembembe at venues including the Kennedy Center, The Met, Festival Cervantino, and the Paris Opera to name a few.
At the Cal State LA Library Community Room, located in the library basement.
