GAUGE Speaker Series

GAUGE Speaker Series

Created in 2005, GAUGE (Graphic Artists Union of the Golden Eagles) is the Graphic Design student group started by undergraduate and graduate design students in the Department of Art at California State University Los Angeles. GAUGE is an official AIGA student group. AIGA, The Professional Association for Design, is the only national membership organization for design and designers.
AIGA student groups offer a way of encouraging students to take the first step in demonstrating a commitment to their professional interest and assisting them in understanding the graphic design field.
The GAUGE Speaker Series brings design industry professionals to campus to stimulate discussion, inspire excellence and build community among the design students, alumni, faculty and staff of California State University Los Angeles.
Established in the 2006-2007 academic year, GAUGE has brought one speaker each quarter to campus.
