Cal State LA’s Departments of TV Film and Media Studies and Communication are delighted to invite our Cal State LA colleagues and graduate students to join us for the 71st annual conference of the University Film and Video Association to be held July 30-August 2, 2017 at Cal State LA. Special early activities are also being planned.

Papers and media that reflect the conference theme: MEDIA DIVERSITY: INCLUSION AND CONVERGENCE are especially encouraged, however papers, panels, workshops,
demonstrations, script readings and screenings that reflect UFVA’s commitment to media
studies and creation are a vital part of every UFVA conference.
