Application Procedures for the Use of Animals in Research and Instruction
To obtain Institutional
Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) review and approval of research and
teaching projects using live, vertebrate, non-human animals, please fill out and
submit a protocol application form as per the following instructions. Completion
of these forms is required by Federal agencies and University policy.

Deadlines: Request
for instructional and research use of animals should be
submitted to ORAD at least 30 days prior to the IACUC meeting
(see the
IACUC Meeting Schedule).
